Our accommodations

Dining rooms

Each floor in Sunset Lodge is equipped with its own dining room where residents enjoy some of the delicious food we have to offer while enjoying a great view of our lush grounds and the Gorge waterway. Dining room serveries allow meals to be served from the space, allowing for a restaurant type feel.

Chapel

Our beautiful chapel, with windows reaching almost ceiling to floor throughout most of the room is a wonderful place for worship. With just a few minor adjustments, the room transforms into a great activity space, quiet room, meeting space and even an educational classroom where staff, volunteers, and families can increase their knowledge on topics such as financial planning, self care, violence prevention and the Gentle Persuasive Approach.

Sunset room

If these walls could talk! Our Sunset room is host to some great entertainment throughout the year, and is often transformed into a celebratory space for our special events. We also have roll away room dividers so that we can have multiple activities going on in the same room including art therapy, cooking/baking activities and exercise programs.

With a great view of our therapeutic garden, residents can soak up the natural light on days when the weather isn’t cooperating for outdoor activities.

Alcoves

On our 2nd and 3rd floors, alcove spaces have been specifically designed as quiet spaces where residents can enjoy visiting with loved ones or enjoy some smaller more individualized programming. Equipped with smart TV’s and curtains to separate the space from the hallways, if things become too overwhelming these alcoves provide a quick break from what’s going on throughout the floor.

Therapeutic garden

Just imagine the sun on your face, the fresh air surrounding you, the sounds of gentle running water and the endless vision of blossoming flowers and greenery! Does it sound nice and relaxing? This is just a taste of what our residents, family, staff, and volunteers have been able to experience in our Therapeutic Garden. This space is used for outdoor events during summer, like big celebratory gardening parties, occasional BBQs, regular music, and just sitting and enjoying the weather.
